About Bryan Morales and his family:

Bryan is 16 years old and was attending Rancho Alamitos High School in their special needs program but is now being home schooled by a Rancho teacher due to his illness.

Bryan and his family live in a one bedroom apartment in Garden Grove. His dad, Antonio, does not have a stable job and only works when the job needs him.  Mom, Martha, takes care of Bryan at home and at the hospital.  Bryan receives some income related to his illness which helps the family pay rent and buy groceries.  They all sleep in the same room and have one vehicle for transportation.
