About Christopher Morales and his family:

Christopher is 16 years old and is a sophomore at Rancho Alamitos High School in their special needs program.

Christopher and his family are listed under the Mckinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act of 1987 which ensures education to students who are homeless or have been homeless in the past.  His mom, 5 kids and 1 granddaughter share a two bedroom apartment in Stanton.  His mom works 28 hours a week and two of the kids also work to help pay the rent.  The family does not own a vehicle and use public transportation to get around.
